Offered by special request, this imagination-expanding workshop for 4th and 5th graders gives young writers the opportunity to explore the following:

- Imagery association games
- Interactive word games and language play
- Fun visual brainstorming and collaborative problem-solving
- Multiple strategies for close-reading of inspiring poetry & short fiction
- Identification & effective application of literary devices (e.g., alliteration, figurative language, symbolism)
- Step-by-step writing & revision processes, including impactful peer critique
- Public speaking/literary presentation
